Harrisburg, PA – The Penn State Smart Home Research Initiative Committee is hosting a visual smart-home symposium on April 14th, 2023. The Future of Aging conference aims to advance the field of Smart Home Research, bringing together industry experts and academic researchers to explore new approaches to the technologies employed in homes, retirement facilities, and hospitals.
As part of the symposium, a Smart Home Panel Discussion will take place, featuring Alex Louderback, CEO of Ambient Home dba BeeCentral Technology, alongside other leading experts in the field. Louderback brings technological expertise, having developed an innovative solution that integrates all smart home devices.
The Smart Home Panel Discussion will explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field of smart home technologies. In addition, the symposium will contain a keynote speech from Brian Jones, Director of the Aware Home Research Initiative at Georgia Tech, and a research presentation from Dr. Tround Tran, Dr. Ola Rashwan, and Mark Abdo.
